Codenight
The moment we've been all waiting for has arrived!!🥳🥳
We are inviting all of you to our Codenight event, where we will pull up an all-nighter in MERA, one of the Computer Engineering laboratories, from 08.00 PM on Saturday, December 2 to 08.00 AM on Sunday, December 3.
-> I don't know programming, can I come? Of course you can come. The event may be called codenight, but actually everyone is doing whatever they want to do. Some work on a project, some do their homework, some just hang out & chill.
-> What about computers? There are computers in the labs but only those who have a CENG account can access these computers. So if you want to use a computer but don't have a CENG account, we recommend you to bring your own computer. 👾
In addition, since our event will take place in a computer lab, we would like to point out some important rules to be followed:
- It is strictly forbidden to enter the computer lab with any drinks or food except water.
- When you are done with the lab computers, the computer should never be turned off, only the user's session should be closed.
- Since the lab we are in is not a quiet lab, you can talk inside, but you should avoid talking loudly enough to disturb others, making noise and making movements that will distract the employees.
Note: For those who can bring their own mugs for tea and coffee consumption during the night, it will be useful to reduce the use of cardboard cups.
Finally, we will code, learn and have fun together in the computer labs. However, we would like to remind you of some important rules to follow in such events. In order to make our club a better place and for everyone to enjoy the event, we recommend you to pay attention to the Code of Conduct.
